You don't really want a Ranger On the Cheap post do you? I don't know shit about Ranger, I don't know how to make a decent Ranger TP set for HNMs, I don't know how to make a decent Ranger TP set for XP. I don't even know how not to die on Ranger. It seems like all I do is die on Ranger. :( I pull hate on everything, and I don't feel like I do anymore damage than any of my other jobs. It sucks. And I don't even have my Crimson Finger Gauntlets made yet. I might be over stating the case here, because I am using Ranger far more right now, and I am actually liking it a lot. There is a lot to learn for it though because it's accuracy is a lot more wonky than for SAM, MNK or NIN. It is gradually moving into the third spot for us after SAM and MNK. I still use NIN to tank a few things but I don't use it for anything at all outside of that anymore. I may have mentioned this all before, but I mention it again because I don't know if I have the general knowledge to do another On the Cheap series for RNG. Give me a couple of weeks to get more comfortable and I will work on it.

Step 1: Borrow Ailee's stuff

step 2 use a lamiabane
your using way to much RACC if you drop the second behemoth ring on your WS sub in your Wyvern helm for your O hat on WS and on tp instead of using a wyvern helm for tp use hunters beret +1 nq is ok if you dont have the +1 yet but trust me its wonderful everything else looks great personally i go with a rapid shot set up for TP and switch to osode for ws but thats just me and if you wanna do more damage use a Fire/Vulcan staff and an axe grip your running into the cap for racc/ratt on your ws gear. Also Raja's Ring and S kote full time is ok and get skadi hands for ws! =)

I would love to get Skadi's hands, but you do know they come from SSR right? :)
Also, Sidewinder scares me, I know I do less damage with this set-up but I know that every Sidewinder is going to land. I will look into the Hunter's Beret too.
dont be scared of sidewinder really no reason if you are scared of it use it @ 150% tp instead of 100% its like what 2 more shots or so. And yes i know Skadi hands are SSR i just recently got mine because i got lucky
spelling out etc. does not make your love for Izman any less apparent.
